Your Station and Going ON Live

To go live ON air, tap the ‘Go ON’ button on your profile/station. Enter the details of your show & tap the ON button. After a 3, 2, 1 countdown, you are live on air. When finished, tap ‘End Show’.

You can invite up to 3 people ON air with you at one time. Tap their profile picture & select ‘Invite ON’ The user will get an in-app invitation to Join or Decline.

Tap ‘Add Tracks’ on your profile / station.

Tap ‘Schedule a show’ on your profile / station. Your show will appear in the ‘ON Later’ section of the main stations screen 24 hours before show time.

You can search for stations in the search bar. You can also discover new stations on the main stations screen - ON Now and ON Later.

Use the share arrow in the upper right corner of any station profile.

These issues are typically caused by poor internet connection. Ask your guests make sure they have a strong WiFi or Cellular connection. Having them mute & unmute or drop down and call back in can also help. If you encounter what you think might be a technical bug, please shake your phone to report it.

As the host, you can invite up to 3 guests at one time.

Yes, Stationhead is available globally on iOS.

Statonhead was built to be used with the mic inside your phone. You can use standard earbuds or any external mic that plugs directly into your iPhone if you prefer. Using AirPods or other Bluetooth headsets is not recommended as it typically causes degraded sound quality.

Account Management

You can change your profile picture, your status & your emoji by tapping on it.

Yes. Log out & in again with your preferred streaming service.

Listeners and your audience

You can find your personal share link using the share option on your profile/station. Copy the link & share it with your friends. If your friends have the app this link will go directly to your station. If not, they will be directed to the app store.

Yes. Listeners need to download the app and log in with their streaming service in order to listen.

Be sure to hit play when you enter a station. Check that you have a strong WiFi or cellular internet connection. Finally, try closing and relaunching your app to see if it fixes your sound.

Yes. As the host you have the ability to report or block people and to delete comments from your station. Tap the 3 dots next to a comment in the chat to use these features.

Streaming and Music

Stationhead has integrated Apple Music and Spotify, allowing all Apple Music and Spotify subscribers to listen to music legally on Stationhead. The streaming services handle the licensing, and we bring the experience and get your favorite artists paid.

You can play any music from the streaming service you signed in with. Add music from your favorite artists to your stations or request them on other stations.

Stationhead has integrated Apple Music and Spotify, so to get your music playable on Stationhead, submit it to both those services. You can also create your own station, which is a great way to promote your music and engage with your fans. Independent Artists should join the Stationhead artist mailing list.

Yes, we plan to be platform agnostic in the future.

Listeners will hear a comparable track if it is not found on the streaming service they logged in with.
